ABOUT OUR SERVICES
Nutritional Response Testing (ACE)
Nutritional Response Testing is a form of Applied Kinesiology built on a solid foundation of key anatomical and physiological principles, providing a fail-safe system enabling the practitioner to resolve at the core level, even the toughest patient health challenges. NRT works like electricity as our body has electric currents or reflexes that can be tested turning those reflexes on and off.
This is done utilizing a patient’s arm positioned at a 90 degree angle while the practitioner will ask the patient to match his/her resistance when the arm is gently moved forward and the patient will either resist or not resist. The practitioner is testing the muscles via the person’s resistant or non resistant responses of the body identifying how those patients muscles respond to different stimuli.
Live & Dry Blood Analysis Oxidative Stress Test
A drop of blood is analyzed as a screening tool as LIVE blood within seconds of gathering blood and within 5 minutes for DRY blood analysis. The testing is done by placing a drop of blood on a glass slide, placed under a dark field microscope, then projected on a video to be examined.
The blood sample is examined for toxicities, allergy indications, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, immune system health, inflammatory challenges, and specific organ function. The machine also allows us to examine blood samples for parasite and yeast overgrowth.
Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis
Blood Chemistry panel will allow healthcare providers to quickly assess the degree of health or disease in a patient. Biomedical laboratory sciences are the ultimate tool to evaluate new patients. Dr Kharrazian has compiled new information from current medical literature that can indicate patterns of current health conditions and how to maintain them.
Blood Chemistry analysis will allow medical practitioners to see the difference between functional and pathological laboratory evaluations, understand how to identify pathology and when to refer for further testing or a more comprehensive management, understand the basic principles of laboratory biochemistry patterns and follow up patient care with repeat testing.
All major steroid hormones, some peptide hormones, and antibodies can be readily detected and measured with reproducible results from a patient’s saliva. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is the most prevalent laboratory technique utilized in measuring various hormones, antigens, and antibodies within the saliva.
The process involves using a prepared solution of antibody that is specific for a substance. The saliva sample is exposed to the solution that has the known antibody. If the substance tested for is present in the saliva, the antibody will bond to the substance and an enzyme linked chemical reaction will notify the scientist via a change in color.
BioMeridian Stress Assessment
Meridian Stress Assessment (MSA) is technology that measures the energy at the meridian points, which reveals areas of imbalance. This technology is used in health care practices around the world because it gives practitioners more information to consider when bringing energetic disturbances back into balance.
Based on the work of Reinhold Voll, BioMeridian Stress Assessment helps identify what energy channels are clogged or not free-flowing. These energy channels, called meridians, flow through the body and are associated with the body's organs. Imbalances in organs, such as the liver or kidneys, will show up as energetic disturbances in the associated meridians.
Cranial Sacral Therapy
CST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and improving the functioning of the craniosacral system, which is made up of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. CST was developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger following extensive scientific studies from 1975 to 1983 at Michigan State University, where he served as a clinical researcher and Professor of Biomechanics.
Using a soft touch, generally no more than 5 grams (about the weight of a nickel), we will release restriction in the craniosacral system, which will improve the functioning of the central nervous system. By encouraging the body's natural healing processes, CST is used more and more as a preventive health method due its ability to improve resistance to disease. It is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including:
• Migraine Headaches• Infantile Disorders
• Chronic Neck and Back Pain• Chronic Fatigue
• Motor-Coordination Impairments• Emotional Difficulties
• Colic• Stress and Tension-Related Problems
• Autism and Learning Disabilities• Fibromyalgia and Connective Tissue Disorders
• Central Nervous System Disorders• Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ)
• Orthopedic Problems• Neurovascular or Immune Disorders
• Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
• Scoliosis• Post-Surgical Dysfunction
Somato - Emotional Release (SER)
SER is a therapeutic process that builds off of and enhances Cranial Sacral Therapy to help remove the residual effects of trauma from the mind and body. SER works through more than 10 different body components to let your mind and body let go of obstacles that are keeping you from realizing your true health potential.
. These components include the thoracic inlet, hard palate, and hypoglossal tissues used to locate and release energy cysts. It helps release suppressed emotions, refining listening and comprehension skills, improve palpation and whole-body evaluation skills. Julie Miller has been an Active Practitioner of Cranial Sacral Therapy (adult and pediatrics) since 2003.
